Job Responsibilities:

Perform duties that promote and maintain the integrity of the school nutrition program. To effectively communicate and promote the program to encourage student participation, while complying with State, Federal and local School Board 

Policies. Attend training as scheduled by school food authority and comply with local school nutrition procedures 

and policies.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, and lift on hard concrete or tile surfaces. The employee must reach, squat, crouch, kneel, bend, twist, crawl, push, pull, carry, climb, balance and perform repetitive tasks with hands, arms, and shoulders on a regular basis. The employee must be able to exert or lift up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to withstand extreme ranges in temperature and humidity levels for long periods of time, and be able to work while standing on hard surfaces for long periods of time. The employee will use significant fine finger dexterity. The employee will spend time using hands and fingers to grasp, handle, control, feel and assemble objects. Work Environment:

The noise level is high, the temperature ranges from -20 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and the humidity level ranges from moderate to very humid. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electric shock.

 

Evaluation: Performance of this position will be evaluated by the School Nutrition Manager.
